Author and Copyright
Author can be a scientist having doctoral, or similar degree, or doctoral student.
Copyright is protected regarding received and published articles. Special agreement concerning copyright shall be separately concluded with the author.
Author has to indicate all of the co-authors, who have contributed in the research concept, design, performance and interpretation. The author also has to make sure that all co-authors are aware of the final version and agree on its publication.
The author shall be responsible if the third person claims about the copyright.
Rules and Procedures of Accepting an Article
Call for the articles is announced for each edition of the journal via the official website of the university and the social network. The members of the Editorial Board are also informed about the call.
An article has to be sent in the defined deadlines to the following email address: info@orbelianilawreview.org .
The article has to be accompanied by an application addressed to the Editorial Board and containing an academic degree, institutional affiliation and contact information of the author.
By providing an article the author certifies that he\she is aware of the editorial policy and rules of the journal and agrees to them.
Articles to be published in the following number is being selected by the Editor-in-Chief, with an approval of the Editorial Board, considering the scientific value of the article and the editorial policy, regardless to the race, gender, sexual orientation, religious belief, ethnic origin, political views and other characteristics of the author.
An article has to comply with the terms and conditions defined in Article 5 of this statute and the ethical standards. The article not complying with these rules and the ethical standards shall not be considered.
The article initially is checked in terms of its thematic and technical requirements, then it is checked in antiplagiarism system. Upon successful completion of the anti-plagiarism program, the article shall be sent for review.
If the article does not comply with the technical requirements for the articles, or is unable to pass the anti-plagiarism program successfully, is returned to the author.
The Article
The article has to be written exclusively for the journal and should not be published in any of the publications worldwide beforehand.
The article has to concern the actual problems of the law and should have scientific value. It is also admissible if the article concerns the interdisciplinary contributions in the areas of relevance to the law.
One article shall not have more than four authors.
The size of the article should be not less than 8 and not more than 25 pages.
Parameters of the article are the following:
Sources have to be quoted in the article in footnotes, beyond the main text, in the lower corner of the same page. Arabic digits and numbers in uninterrupted sequence are used in numbering the quotes. The following rules are used for naming the sources and quoting:
Ethical Standards for Authors
Author has to comply with the ethical standards.
The article provided by the author has to exclude all forms of discrimination.
Article shall not contain hate speech, unprintable and insulting phrases.
Anti-plagiarism
All articles are subjected to the mandatory check in the electronic anti-plagiarism program – StrikePlagiarism.com.
Anti-plagiarism electronic system is information technological software, which identifies authenticity of the technical documents. Systemically it ensures to search and identify the information taken from another source, promotes the evaluation of the text and indicates its location. Anti-plagiarism system finds the identical fragments, which are placed in several databases and internet resources.
Anti-plagiarism system compares all uploaded documents with the following database sources: documents in the university database, documents in the databases of other universities, internet resources, RefBooks databases, legal databases.
Author has to indicate all of the sources used in the work.
If any form of plagiarism is detected, the work shall not be published.
Rule of Review
Two reviewers shall be selected for each article. The reviewers shall be holding doctoral degree, or similar academic degree and has published works in the field related to the scientific subject of the article.
Reviewer has to be objective, personal critics of the author is inadmissible.
Selected reviewer, who considers that he\she will not be able to review an article, or will not be able to do it in the defined deadlines, shall inform the Editor-in-Chief / Editor has about it and shall be withdrawn from the review.
Author of the article shall not be aware of the identity of the reviewer, neither the reviewer – of the identity of the author.
Duration of the review shall last 1-4 weeks.
Review is made by means of special review form.
The review might be positive or negative.

The reviewer may give the author some technical or other recommendations and / or remarks in writing.
The article will be considered as successful if both of the reviews are positive.
If one review is positive and another one is negative, the notices are sent to the author. If the author disagrees with these notices, the article is sent to the third reviewer. The article is successfully reviewed if the evaluation of the third reviewer is positive.
If the reviews are negative, the article will not be published and will be returned to the author.
Publication of the Article
After reviewing the article, it is edited in order to correct the grammatical, technical and lingual defects.
Edited article is sent to the author who has to agree the publication of the final version of the text in one week.
After being approved by the author the final version of the article with the short annotations is sent to each member of the Editorial Board in order to receive approval on their publication.
After being approved by the members of the Editorial Board the journal is imposed and sent for publication;
Single copies of the published journals are sent to the members of the Editorial Board and two copies are sent to the authors.
